How have you been going with winding angle selection? I understand the 90’ is optimal for burst strength (which many of you will use for rocketry), but I am generally trying to optimise bending stiffness. I started out using all 45’ p

I'm excited to finally have our machine up and running and winding mandrels, but would really love to hear guys experiences in the resin ratio / viscosity used, and how to control the layer thickness.
For our first pipe I used a low

I am trying to create a 45-degree 2-axis layup in 3-axis mode. The 4-axis winder that I am working with has been having an issue where the dwell times are different on each end

if I'm wrapping a oval shaped mandrel thats about 80mm by 30mm what do i set at the mandrel size in the software? 80mm? or do i have to calculate the circumference?

I made this roller gluing two concave rollers and washers. This helps keeping the filament centered. I was having issues with the filament slipping out of the flat roller and getting stuck in the side.
I'm thinking on buying a 3D printer and making

I was wondering if it is possible to adjust the transition speed at the ends of the winding. As the ends tend to slip I am thinking a slower Transition from 45 to 90 degrees at the ends may improve this problem.
Any thoughts on that?
